About Kate

Kate Hollowell is a writer, director and performer whose work pairs big feelings with a healthy appetite for the absurd. She developed her visual style directing and starring in her own music videos before bringing her distinctive sensibility to commercials and film.

In 2024, her short film Say Hi After You Die, which she wrote, directed and starred in, won Best U.S. Short Film at Sundance. She is set to do all three again in the feature adaptation, with production details currently under wraps. She is also set to write and direct Something Murdered at Steven Spielberg’s Amblin.

She is either 29 or 33 years old.
